Personal Antivirus

Has your computer been infected? Think you might have to remove Personal Antivirus? Well in case you were not already aware, Personal Antivirus IS a virus. Although it advertises itself as a benign product that helps you remove malware, this is actually not the case. The rogue program posts false positive messages to frighten you into buying their software. If you install the program it will simply make the infection worse.

Now the crux of the problem is this, although the messages are fake, your computer IS infected. Personal Antivirus is a virus itself. The program also uses spyware and keyloggers to attempt to record sensitive information like passwords, credit card, and other private data.

How did Personal Antivirus get on your computer? This could be due to numerous factors. The most common is, you accidentally visited a malicious website that installed the virus on your system. This can often happen without you even knowing, which is why I always recommend having some kind of real time antivirus software running at all times.
