Remove SpyEraser

Did you know that a Flash player update from an unknown website can actually lead to the downloading of a trojan? That’s right, installing a fake Flash player update is one way that malware like SpyEraser find their way into computer systems of unwitting individuals.

Once inside, SpyEraser immediately infiltrates the Windows system registry to have total control. It then launches pop-ups and other notifications, alerting the victim of the presence of rogue viruses (aside from itself, of course). Sometimes, it even create numerous files in the Windows system folders and performs fake scans to make the victim believe that it is a friendly legitimate virus scanner.

Upon capturing the victims’ trust and confidence, SpyEraser then entices the victim into buying a “full-version”. You guessed correctly! The “full-version” is nothing more than a useless piece of software. Although absolutely useless, SpyEraser is a very dangerous program that can force your system to hang or run slow.

Trojans and fake antivirus programs like SpyEraser are deadly combinations. Now, you can either do a manual removal or purchase a legitimate antivirus program to do the dirty work for you. The important thing is to get rid of SpyEraser before it makes any irreparable damage.
