Speed Up Startup

The Windows registry is a database containing information on every single aspect of your machine. Hardware, system software, installed software and user settings all depend on the entries made in the registry. Over time however, those entries build up. Some become corrupted, some go missing, and many of them become unnecessary. This is where your computer starts to suffer. As with any database, the less entries there are, the faster it will generally run. And corrupt entries are a killer. Without maintenance, over time your computer will slow greatly. In fact, most slow computers that end up getting replaced could have been brought back to life through registry maintenance. Luckily, getting your registry fixed up isn't hard.
